Exxon (XOM) is breaking out across multiple time frames, monthly, weekly and daily. Here are the two,"next months", option gains from just yesterday: XOM O-T-M Calls - Late Wednesday on a 4% gain in share price. Feb Expiration March Expiration Bottom Line: XOM is on our watch list, pending a confirmation of Wednesday's Daily breakout, a close above $132 will do it. Global geopolitical events bear watching. We will go for either Feb or Mar O-T-M calls, depending on the strength of the confirmation. Silver - Update What would a day be without an updated Silver chart? Today (Thursday) started out as a consolidation day, but Silver has caught a bid mid-session and has risen from 87.90 (low) to 91.65 as I am writing this. That's close to a 5% run off of its lows. Another 5% and we get a new all time high. In any case, this is my latest Short-Term Spot Silver chart, with new price targets well into triple digits.
