Email Schedule: The emailed copies of new posts will continue on the schedule of 3:00 pm (ET) for Premium service updates and 12:00 pm (ET) for PRO service updates. It works better for all of us. New trades are just as likely to fetch better prices within a few hours to a day after being generated as they are immediately after being posted. The respective updates will go up on the website about 30-60 minutes earlier than the emailed copies. --------------------------------------- I posted a Daily price bars version of this UVXY chart in the Oct 16th Weekend Update. Below is the much longer term weekly price bars chart, this one showing the massive year-long build up in volume. As was indicated on the Daily chart, something wicked this way comes. We just don't know when. Unless, "this time it's different," the tranquility that has tempered volatility since the Covid Crash of Feb-Mar 2020 will end in the mother of all volatility spikes. Even our beloved TSLA and its derivatives will not be spared so it is crucial to keep an eye out for the beginnings of this spike. In the Covid Crash UVXY started moving up for about a week in advance of the pure vertical wave took UVXY up 13X where it began. But there need not be a week's warning, there may only be an overnight global market crash that compacts the entire spike into consecutive limit-up spikes, i.e., "no calls for you"( - think soup nazi from Seinfeld). This kind of market event implies massive returns for underlying options. For example, the Nov 19th $30C is trading at $0.50. If UVXY ran up to $50, that call is worth $20; $500 becomes $20,000. We don't know when, but since these spikes happen once or twice a year and we haven't seen one in 18 months, it is safe to assume the next one is pending. Strategy I'm buying a relatively small position in the Nov 19th $30C today and will continue to keep a long-UVXY position in my account indefinitely. If there comes signs of strength, at a minimum consecutive days of higher highs, and/or a UVXY Trend Model Buy Signal, I will act to remove the, "relatively small," characterization.
