On April 29th USO triggered a Sell Signal. Although 2 out of 3 of these signals can be counted on as winners, one out of three fail. This appeared to fall into the latter category...until today's drop. Here is my updated USO chart with a new Sell trigger as of today's decline which is breaking the short-term Wave 4 trend channel. USO Daily The previous chart had Wave 4 ending on April 28th, this chart moves that end to yesterday's close and a fresh Sell arrow appears on today's breakdown. TRADE MANAGEMENT The Jun $65P was up 80% in two days after the trade, which by money management rule moves the stop from -50% to break-even. That was hit. If still holding any of these puts, continue to do so. If out completely, at around $2.00 it still looks like a great risk:reward trade, with a stop at -50% and a potential reward, basis a USO move to $57, of 4X by Jun expiration. New Trades This Week Both the new PRO Mag 7 option trades (TSLA & NVDA) from earlier this week are up 50%, so the "hard stop" on both should me moved up from -50% to about break-even. "About break-even," means exactly that, anywhere from -10% to +10% is close enough, depending on personal risk profiles.
