Our most recent foray into TSLA calls was on April 8th. Since then, TSLA has risen from around $340 to as high as $415.83, today, taking the calls up from to a maximum gain of 326% on April 17th. TSLA remains above $400 and the calls, if still held, are up about 200%, just slightly off their best levels. Insofar as expiration is still 71 days out, some leeway should be given on too tight a trailing stop (see Hourly chart below). As for the chart, it's looking more like the start of a move then an end. Take a look at the Intermediate and Longer Term prospects: TSLA Daily - Intermediate Term Yesterday I posted TSLA's long term Monthly chart in the Premium Servie's Mid-Week update: All benefit of doubt in TSLA should be resolved by holding calls rather than taking quick profits, but if you must, try to keep some contracts aside...just in case. TSLA GAPS TSLA closed Wednesday at $398.73 and opened today, Thursday at $407.48, creating quite the gap-up around round number resistance-support at $400. It is best shown on the Hourly chart below, along with Fib retracement levels from its most recent swing low: TSLA Hourly As much as I want $400 to hold support, this chart suggests price could drop all the way into the $380's and not be anything more than a normal retracement on the way to much higher prices. Anything under $380 would suggest another outcome.
