One of the bullish themes emerging into the new year is the space sector, driven by SpaceX's pending IPO and strengthened by this year's major space winners, RKLB and ASTS. Today, all the space stocks on my radar—TSLA, RKLB, ASTS, and GOOGL—are trading higher. However, with the Christmas holiday falling mid-week, I'm hesitant to acquire new call options at this time. In other words, I'm skeptical that today's gap-ups will hold, but if they do maintain their gains, expect new long positions to follow. TSLA RKLB ASTS GOOGL* *A 7% owner of SpaceX and latest darling of Warren Buffett. If this were the first week of January, I would be setting levels just above current prices to add out-of-the-money calls for February, March, and April on all of the above. Unfortunately, my calendar shows this is two days before Christmas, and as such, this morning's rallies cannot be trusted. Nevertheless, this is where the bullish action (if any) will be for much of 2026, so commit these charts to memory.
