The stock market is closed on Monday and this being Christmas weekend, the status of a Weekend Update being out in its usual Saturday time slot is much like Santa's sleigh, up in the air. Expect the update between Saturday and Monday afternoon, depending on my time constraints over the next 24 hours. Even though next week is another holiday shortened week it doesn't mean it will be uneventful. Yesterday saw the DJI gap down and drop over 800 pts and from its low has recovered 650 pts into the first hour today, maybe all of it by the time this gets posted. Next week takes us 4 weeks until Jan 20th expiration (17 trading days). Key levels are now yesterday's lows, they will be watched by a of of traders, bots and algorithms, when they fall --> acceleration down, like off a cliff down. Be prepared.
