The market is up against another week of earnings from high profile stocks (among them: AAPL, FB, AMZN, GOOGL, TWTR, MSFT). The election is next Tuesday, the results of which are anyone's guess, including the aftermath, and there is an alarming global spike in coronavirus cases. All of this is makes any new trades subject to wild swings that have nothing to do with price pattern recognition. New trades in the PRO shorter-term models will have take a back seat to news-events at for the next 10 days, save for TSLA and the current short-term trade (and hedge) via QQQ Nov $275 puts. Note that TSLA gapped down below its 50-day moving average again today ($420) and like Friday has recovered right back to it. The Intermediate Term threshold for a Repeat Buy is now $436. My stock monitor list has expanded to 40 or so, about double what is normal, because once the election is over I want to be aggressively taking all new signals. Either up or down, the run into the end of the year should be a sight to behold. Finally, VXX is breaking out of oversold in both the hourly and daily time frames. That is the one new trade (Buy) that may be triggered in the hours and/or days ahead.
