Invesco DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund (DBC) tracks a basket of "things" that roughly correspond with real inflation, not the government tweaked CPI version of the "cost of consumer goods." As you can see on the chart below, it has been running up for one year, almost double what it was at the beginning of 2020. The angle of ascent, both long and short term, is actually steepening. DBC Weekly DBC Hourly The monthly July at-the-money calls carry virtually no time premium and for a reason, DBC just doesn't move all that fast. Not yet.
