In reference to my August 3rd AMAT Earnings post, today is the day AMAT reports, after the close. Looking at the chart, AMAT is at a critical juncture. Today's report could very well be a catalyst for a steep decline, or conversely, a clean breakout toward new highs. AMAT 2-Day No trades before earnings, regardless of what the pattern has been.
