TSLA Trade Performance How do the closed/current trades compare with the highest prices the options achieved during trade? Premium Service Trades PRO Service Trades The best example is the first trade for each service, the December 9th purchase of the Jan 2021 $420 calls. They closed Friday at $256.42 for a 610.30% gain. However, the highest price they have traded at is $258.50 for a 616.07% gain. As you go down the list however, the differences between what is (or was) the exit or current prices/returns versus the highest prices/returns is larger. Bottom line: Currently the average return for TSLA trades is 261% for PRO Trades and 235% for the Premium trades. In light of those returns, leaving some on the table for lack of the "perfect" exit strategy is a sacrifice we can live with. The current Premium and PRO trade tables, which include all of the puts that were bought last week, are posted on the website. Note that a 50% trailing stop is now recommended for all options from inception of the trade, applicable to all new and currently open trades. Feel free to "tweak" in accordance to your own risk profile, or keep it simple by using this 50% rule. The Big Picture The novel coronavirus is taking center stage as it spreads across the globe. If Friday's drop is correlated to the transmission of the disease to date and that correlation persists into February, the market decline will only accelerate. The Fed will have finally met its match. Those numbers above for TSLA may soon be seen by market indexes as they have already turned hard down on the shorter term charts (see the Dow charts below) and are setting up for a slew of fresh Sells. More drops like like Friday and the intermediate term charts will follow. Get ready for a volatile week ahead. Pictures Sometimes Speak Louder Than Words
