Yesterday's Weekend Update included a table of all of the trades generated in our new system during the month of April. Below is a table of trades generated in May, including those that have been sent out in real time starting with the HP trade on May 10th. Note that the first four trades listed in the table were triggered before we switched to the new trading system so are not part of any real time track record. Also, since TSLA and C were added to the trading portfolio after we started the new trading, neither trade should be considered real time track record trades. Nonetheless, all six of the above referenced trades (as well as the April trades) were triggered by the same methodology. One housekeeping matter: On Friday's market open TLT triggered a Sell Signal. This signal did not show up on my late Thursday scan so I couldn't send it out early. Accordingly, I am going back to publishing daily updates within 30 minutes after each market open. As with our previous incarnation of the trading system, there is never a rush to put on these trades, but try to get them on by the end of the day in which they are generated. There is no reason to be tied to your computer during the first half-hour of trading, you can just check your email (or our website) sometime early in the day. There were 18 trades generated in May. Based upon our backtesting this is a lot of trades for any one month. Normally expect 10-15 trades a month, about 3-4 a week and unlike our prior system, it's fine to pick and choose which trades to take, although I highly recommend taking at least half and if possible, try to balance longs and shorts. Finally, although trades end when your profit target gets hit, that doesn't mean that if your target doesn't get hit the option expires worthless. Depending on price, that option can expire with a cash value, just not high enough to trigger your exit. In my extensive backtesting the underlying assumption was that options that never hit targets expired worthless. But they all don't, meaning the system is actually better than my backtested results. Ergo, my extreme confidence that we have something very special here. Next Update: Within 30 Minutes After Monday's Open Trades: May-to-Date
