Intro Few Words - Patience There are only a few times each year where stocks and/or indices are lined up for potential huge gains (key word: potential.) This is certainly one of them vis a vis the stock indices as once again a third wave down at multiple degrees of trend is tracing out patterns across all of the indices. Further potential exists in Gold and Silver once their current corrective legs are complete and new impulsive Wave 5 legs up are dominant. The few big winners in our options portfolio this weekend are oil themed, with 200% winners in CVX (Premium & Pro) and 500% in XOM (Pro). Those are the kind of gains that we are aiming for in stock indices and later in Gold and Silver. So, be patient, everything seems to be lining up in that direction over the next few months. Trading Themes The three big macro plays facing us this weekend are all related and headline sensitive, making trading options on any of them full of risk...and reward. Let's start this weekend by looking at our current relevant positions and end by projecting ahead a where all are headed between now and April-June expiration. Spot Gold This two-day chart of Spot Gold assumes the C and final leg of a Wave 4 correction is in progress. Once Wave 5 UP is confirmed we can consider calls that we can hold while this next leg unfolds. I initially thought we might play the C leg down in Wave 4 for a decent gain, but much better gains are on the other side of Wave 4, with Gold & Silver calls as Wave 5 makes historic new highs. Big Oil CVX By going out to June expiration on our CVX calls we eliminated a lot of the angst of trading a headline sensitive commodity. So far, so good, full steam ahead, CVX is headed for $220, minimum by June. This XOM late January Buy in PRO Service still has one week to go and you can bet we will be rolling over come next Friday. Stocks Last weekend I spent most all of the Weekend Update on the stock indices. Rather than show the gamut of indices, let's focus this weekend on the two that seem to have the most potential, starting with the Russell 2000 ETF, IWM: IWM Daily The initial target is 230 by April expiration, but lower levels are possible. One more week to go on these Mar IWM puts, then we rollover into April expiration (absent a market crash, whereby we start looking at calls). QQQ Daily While IWM is already well into its decline, QQQ is teetering on the edge of a more ominous collapse. Next week could see fireworks and we could be adding Apr QQQ puts. Final Thought: The Power of Options We have chosen one of the most difficult and at times frustrating areas of trading to focus our efforts, but it also provides the best bang for our trading bucks when we get it right. Note that with all of the volatility in Gold and Silver this year, this SLV option trade from Dec 1, 2025 is still alive and well: Traders should have exited on a trailing stop at +646.20%, holding just a token, "just in case," position at +336.71%. Active Option Tables "Active" = Unexpired and not having reached the -50% hard stop exits. Premium Service PRO Service
