The Big Picture Coming up this week is options expiration and the Fed meeting where a widely anticipated interest rate cut is already more than factored into the equities market. What could go wrong? Well, for starters, note the last hour of trading on Friday in these two 5 minute charts: QQQ 5 Minute UVXY 5 Min Meaningful, or end of day/week noise? I'm leaning toward the former, but will reserve judgment until Monday's Open at the earliest, and post-Fed reaction at the latest. The market is inside a 4 week seasonal/cycle low window, so any hint of a breakdown on the Daily charts will likely generate a shorting opportunity, QQQ puts and/or UVXY calls. Stand-by for strategic Big Picture positioning, any day next week. Focus On RKLB We covered TSLA and UNH last week, but haven't said much about RKLB for awhile. That changes with this update as RKLB is about to breakout big time, above $55 and headed toward the century market in the months ahead. Let's start off with the chart analysis, followed by the calls, past, present and future and finally tie it all together with content, some from our service over this summer and some borrowed from The Motley Fool. RKLB This chart analysis, our own combination of EW and trend channel breakouts, has served us well over the past year (see track record below). It suggests a doubling in RKLB's price, minimum, over the next year. Rollover Time: Late Friday's Quotes We will officially rollover these calls toward the end of next week. Look for specifics in the upcoming Mid-Week Update. Early adapters can start with the Dec $65C. It targets a different market than SpaceX, which carries heavier payloads with its Falcon rockets. It has already launched Electrons 70 times. They have been used to deploy 238 satellites so far, and its top customers include NASA, the U.S. Space Force, the Swedish National Space Agency, Capella Space, Kinéis, and BlackSky Technology. The company conducted six launches in 2021, nine launches in 2022, 10 launches in 2023, and 16 launches in 2024. It has already launched 12 rockets in 2025, and it's expected to complete at least 20 this year. Its revenue surged from $62 million in 2021 to $436 million in 2024, and analysts expect its top line to rise 35% to $588 million in 2025. *Caveat: Our trades are based almost entirely upon pattern recognition and in particular, breakouts of parallel trend channels. Still, the fundamentals ("The Bull Case") do hold some sway. For example, our enthusiasm for TSLA is based in part on product, management (i.e., Elon Musk) and future growth prospects. As we can't buy into SpaceX calls (yet), RKLB may be the closest we can come to leveraging the future of rocket launches and space exploration. Link Active Trade Tables PRO Service Premium Service
