Stock Indices Let's start this holiday week preview with a look and this S&P 500 chart that has had us leaning bearish for the past several weeks: SPX Note the double top showing in Nov-Dec, 2021 and again in Nov-Dec, 2025. This strongly suggests that we be on the lookout for a deep dive, similar as to what happened from January to October, 2022. That was about a 25% decline over 10 months and if it happens in the months ahead it will present numerous shorting opportunities on the way down, starting anytime in the next few days-to-weeks. Soon after the second top in 2022, between Jan 4, 2022 and Jan 24, 2022, the SPX fell close to 600 points, or about 12.5% in three short weeks. SPX Jan 2022 DJI Turning to the DJI, it may have already begun. Note below how price has declined from its Dec 12th all-time high, then risen into a Fibonacci retracement zone. It can creep a little higher, but a hard fall out of the zone is our trigger to add more puts: The same can be said for QQQ, which also has fallen from a peak and retraced into a Fibonacci retracement zone: QQQ I've taken the liberty to place my Elliott Wave count on this price movement, which would only become invalidated if price exceeds that Wave 2 high, made coincidentally on Dec 12th, the same day as the DJI all-time high. I don't know what to expect next week, but I do know that any drop by the stock indices will be bearish, tradable bearish, holiday week or not. Based on my wave count, QQQ could approach 500 some time in the first quarter of 2026 and only a close above the Dec 12th high print, 629.21, turns the outlook bullish. In that scenario, see the bottom chart, below. Silver Silver is close to completing five waves up at multiple degrees of trend. We have been riding this train through much of 2025 and are still on board for this last leg higher. Silver Spot Premium Service SLV Calls The Premium Service has been long SLV calls since June, 2025, having just closed out a ten-bagger at Friday's expiration. With a triple digit gain showing for our current March expiration holding, if Silver can reach those Wave 5 targets, maybe another 10-bagger, or close thereto, is in the works. Bitcoin BTC So far all the price action since the break of the big uptrend channel has been consistent with five waves down unfolding, with still more to go. Wave 5 should take BTC into the $70K's and maybe as low as $50K. AAPL A similar chart to that of SPX shown first above, with a similar expectation for the months ahead, i.e., hard down. So goes AAPL, so goes the S&P 500 and vice versa. TSLA What if my bearish prognostication for 2026 is wrong? There's tonight's $1.5B Powerball jackpot, but the odds are much better with the chart below: TSLA A break above the 5-year long ascending parallel channel will set TSLA on its path to $1,000 and probably sooner than anyone except Elon and myself expects. Please review the last Weekend's update where I all but name TSLA as my, "Stock of The Year, 2026," no matter which way the indices go, with the proviso that if next year is an up year for the stock market, TSLA will be leading the charge, with multiple ten baggers possible in the years ahead.
