TSLA is running right out of the gate this morning, In the past when the stock has quickly run-up a few hundred points we have seen some profit-taking knock the stock down for a few days, but so far not this time. From the Aug 12th "Multiple Buy Signals" the stock has run about $300 to this morning's high ($1,755). A question that has been asked many times since about January 1st: Is it too late to buy TSLA? Long term (6 months+): Not too late; Intermediate Term: (2-4 months): Probably not to late: Short-Term: (1 month): I don't know. With the stock split (of record Aug 21st, new shares issued Aug 28th, starts trading post-split prices Aug 31st), followed by "Battery Day" (unveiling of new battery technology on Sep 22nd) and the likely inclusion into the S&P 500 (any time in the weeks ahead), this run may have a lot further to go. A day or two or three of price retreat will set up the potential of a repeat Buy, the longer the consolidation the more likely the signal. Eventually, one will come...but at what price level?
