Anticipation of good news can boost a stock's share price, especially one as sensitive to headlines as Tesla. Last year TSLA rose from $275 at its August 11th low to $400 on Sep 21st, having been as high as $500 on Sep 1st. That's a hefty rally of just under 50% in six weeks, (80% in the three weeks to the Sep 1st high). The 2021 Annual Shareholders meeting is scheduled for October 7th. TSLA may have already made its August low on Tuesday, falling to at $648.80 intraday. With two weeks left to go in August, there is still time to test or exceed that level before making its August low. The key time frame will likely be between Labor Day, when the deep pockets get back from their summer vacations, through to the October 7th meeting. With Berlin and Austin ramping up, a sold out third and likely 4th quarter in the Model Y, and Cybertruck's 1.2 million pre-orders in the wings, what more does Elon have up his sleeve for October 7th? Best guess: At a minimum, a much higher share price. TSLA Rally Into the Sep 2020 Annual Meeting 2021: Labor Day through October 7th
