I've added an early trade trigger for (exclusive for Premium and PRO Subscribers) to the SPY 2-Day chart discussed in my AllAllan update on Sunday. If you haven't read it, here is a direct link: AllAllan. With today's market decline, this trend model is perilously close to triggering a Sell Signal...but not quite there yet. SPY 2-Day w/Early Trade Triggers Late Note: On the verge of an early Sell The take-away from this chart is that the early trade trigger is anywhere from 2-4 days early on signals, with the occasional false alarm. However, the false alarms almost always are quickly followed by a fresh signal back in the direction of the major trend with an excellent track record for huge wins. So good in fact, I almost welcome false alarms. In other words, the smaller arrows are either going to get us into a trade a few days earlier and at better prices, or will result in a small loss in front of what will be a huge gain. Win-win. SPY O-T-M Puts - Oct/Nov/Dec Upon Fresh Sell Signal - Pick At Least One Average historical Best Gain per entry is about 9%. With SPY trading at 555, that's about 45-50 SPY points taking it pretty close to the 500 level. QQQ Daily Will either find support at current levels (460-462) or acceleration down. Consider rolling any left-over Sep 20th QQQ puts to one or more of the SPY puts set out above, keeping some near-term puts and adding some further out in time puts. In a perfect world, having SPY/QQQ puts that expire in staggered months maximizes exposure to a huge win, making exact timing less of a factor.
