Feb 9th Trading: MSTR @ $1,300 = +$262 = +26% For anyone who has sold and taken profits in MSTR watching it run without you can be as painful as holding long through a drawdown. I've received enough questions from subscribers who have already taken MSTR profits and want to get back in so as to address this issue in this Alert. (1) When taking profits there is no "all or none" rule. Taking profits can mean leaving some shares in your account just in case. Even though you may not have a full position on, the psychological rush of holding a soaring stock or option is almost as good. You can get back into a full position should any "dip" occur. (2) What is a dip? For our formal trading purposes in both Intermediate and Short Term patterns, a dip is a retracement from recent highs and a breakout above the retracement channel. We bought dips all the way up in TSLA last year. Nonetheless, with TSLA the best strategy was to Buy & Hold, but we didn't know it at the time. Is the same thing happening now with MSTR? Last year TSLA had 20 short-term Buy Signals in the PRO Short-Term services, against 12 Intermediate Term Buy Signals in the Premium Service. Those were "dips" as per our pattern recognition rules, so waiting for the TSLA dips took approximately 1-2 weeks in PRO, and 3-5 weeks in Premium. (3) As high as MSTR is today, if you don't care to wait around for a new signal, dollar cost average into the stock, starting NOW, then adding more on the next bona fide new trading signal. It could come at lower prices, but just as likely to come at higher prices. We are all timing geniuses..in retrospect. MSTR Calls OUR FIVE CORE STOCKS FOR 2021
