Having already been stopped out of the VXX trade, we are waiting for a new Short Signal. That looks imminent. A print below 45.65 at the 1:30 pm trade window will have us buying VXX Oct $45 puts. VXX trades unfold like the tortoise and the hare., Calls sprint out of the gate while Puts make their money slow and steady. No compelling reason to jump on the trade early, absent a 200 point early rally in the Dow this morning.
