This AMZN chart provides a perfect illustration of what shorter-term signals look like. The down arrows identify real time Sell Signals, the first at 1827 on October 18th and a repeat Sell at 1788 on October 25th. With AMZN trading just below1600 as I write this, both signals have generated 200 points, more or less, of profits. But the problem is a single out-of-the-money AMZN put would have cost about $5K. The put would easily have tripled with this kind of move, but I am not going to recommend anyone put $5K into a single option contract. Nonetheless, it is a good illustration of what these signals will look like, and hopefully how they will continue to perform.
