Over this Super Bowl weekend I may be (research ongoing) recommending my first penny stock since 2005, when I introduced NNVC at 8c. In the next two years it raced as high as $3.75 and than we simply overstayed our welcome. Lesson learned. But that was then, IPIX is now. It has run-up from $0.15 to $0.47 over the past four weeks, after receiving Fast Track approval for testing its investigational new drug, Brilacidin. Phase 2 Clinical Trials began his past week. Innovation Pharmaceuticals’ Phase 2 Clinical Trial of Brilacidin for Treating COVID-19 Scheduled to Begin Next Week "The Company believes Brilacidin holds tremendous promise to help address the global pandemic, particularly given the emergence of contagious and virulent coronavirus variants. Data increasingly are showing these variants can significantly lessen the effectiveness of COVID-19 treatments and vaccines. For example, a Phase 2b trial in South Africa showed the Novavax vaccine was less than 50 percent effective against a new coronavirus variant originally identified in that country. Today its symbol has started to appear on Reddit "r/RobinhoodPennyStocks" board. We all know where that can lead. Consider this a heads-up in case there is some dramatic news from that above-referenced clinical trial. I have no expectations at this time. PS: IPIX's CEO is Leo Ehrlich, formerly CFO of NNVC during its climb from 8c to $3.75.
