Friday, July 4th, the markets are closed in observance of Independence Day, thus making today, Tuesday, the day more suited for a, "mid-week," update. GRRR - Epilogue Let's start with the elephant in the room, a fail on our most recent new pick, GRRR, which decided to announce a new stock offering on the heels of our recommendation last Friday, knocking the stock down 15% and the recommended calls down over 40% from the close on Friday, all in one fell swoop after Monday's open. The good news is that our trades run consistently at about a 67% winning pace, meaning one out of three trades don't work out. GRRR is teetering on being that one out of three, so absent a straight-up spike from current levels, GRRR looks to be "one," suggesting a couple of winners coming next. Meanwhile and speaking of winners, RKLB and META more than balance out that loss with healthy gains for the month of June. RKLB & META - June Performance (Prices a of Tuesday's Open) Trading The Q's This QQQ Trading Model started out as a teaching tool from my Online Tutorial ($495), used as an illustration of our well the Q's conform to our pattern recognition trading signals based on breakouts of parallel trend channels. I spent some time last weekend with option performance annotations on the QQQ chart to illustrate what is possible in both up and down trends as defined by our breakout methodology. Trading The Q's - Intermediate Term Trading Model The chart is annotated with Sell Signals in red and Buy Signals in blue, along with some option price levels at each trade trigger. Also highlighted are "Wave 5 Buy & Sell Signals," which in this case there was one each, one Sell and one Buy, so far in 2025. This chart is a keeper, it contains a simple option strategy using our favorite pattern recognition technique to generate substantial percentage returns. For shorter-term trading, I shared this performance table with the Online Tutorial Group, illustrating an alternative way to trade this model, with both intermediate and shorter-term options. Trading The Q's (Prices as of Tuesday's Open) Two Buy Signals, April 24th and June 24th, trading both Intermediate Term (Apr 24th) and Shorter-Term (June 24th) signals via calls in QQQ and/or TQQQ.
