As this week crawls along, dotted with the pre-Christmas closures, i.e., a half-day on Wednesday, a whole day on Thursday and likely flat day on Friday, it seems appropriate that I send this about half-way through this holiday doldrum schedule. Expect the same next week as the new year holiday comes around with similar doldrums. I'll try to make up for it with an end-of-year extravaganza of sorts, a preview of what to expect come next month, next quarter and next year. Let the tension build. Summary Thoughts - Into The Close...Of The Year TSLA I don't know what is more bullish, the Full Self-Driving that Tesla has gifted me and other owners for the month and the ramifications that flow therefrom for the future of individual transportation, or, the SpaceX connection/premium and the ramifications that flow to TSLA shareholders in light of Elon's verbal commitment to allocate a share any SpaceX IPO in this coming year. Either one of the above is rich enough to justify a doubling of share price, but together, adding Starlink to the mix, and another mutli-bagger in share price alone is on the horizon, not to mention LEAPS and/or shorter-term option potential. Suffice it so say that I view Tesla/SpaceX as preeminent investments and trading vehicles into the final few years of this decade. Think SLV, on steroids. Silver & Gold Extended, to say the least and as of Tuesday mid-session, including the just closed out December SLV trade, not a bad picture of profit: Note the trailing stop levels, which represent our only real protection against a sudden reversal of trend. If triggered, exit at least half of position, holding the remainder through expiration, come hell or high water, so to speak. Market Directional Bets All we can do at this point in time is to let the market do its thing, up or down, and react by identifying breakouts, or breakdowns, and to lay leveraged bets on that particular direction. Easier said than done, yes I know, but as 2025 draws to a close, a humble observation: We have done pretty damn well this year, up AND down, with enough mega winners to more than compensate for the misses along the way. All I can do is aim for more of the same in the year ahead. As I so often remind myself, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Insofar as this is likely my last update to subscribers before Christmas: My sincerest wishes for a wonderful holiday to all! Allan
