The biggest news of the week has to be PLTR earnings after the close on Monday, stellar and stellar, to say the least. It is no secret that PLTR, along with TSLA, have been two of our favorite equities of the past few years, whether as Buy and Hold stocks or Buy and Hold Calls, or actively traded calls, both have made all of his work, analysis and risk:reward profiling worthwhile. Here is a link to an excellent summary of PLTR's mega beat on Monday, with a peak at the future fundamentals that should take the shares up to the $200 price level later this year: Palantir Erupts On Big Earnings Beat; Next Phase Of AI Is Application Layer Below is our complete track record of PLTR trading in the Premium Service, not so much to beat my chest in triumph, but more for. new subscribers to show what is possible, good trades (7) and bad (1), and what nets out extreme profitability if you just stick with it and apply some minimal money management techniques. PLTR Option Trading 2024-2025 (Premium Trading Service) We have sent out eight option trade recommendations for PLTR calls in the Premium Service since July, 2024. Seven were winners, with the average gain of 487.67% if held from entry to expiration (or through Monday's earnings for unexpired calls). The average "Best" percent gain is 761.15%, which only matters if that "Best" gain is cut in half, triggering a 50% trailing stop. Those instances are shown by the shaded rows of trades. The $30,445.85 figure represents the profits if each and every trade was stopped out via that 50% trailing profit stop. In other words, if a trader had the worst possible luck trading within our system, they still would have made 30X their money trading our PLTR call recommendations. And finally, even if you don't care about option trading and only care about stock picks, here is my recommended Buy & Hold Portfolio, brought up to date to account for PLTR's quarterly grand slam: In a little over four years, just buying and holding PLTR has returned 847.47% (about 200% per year) meaning every $1,000 put into PLTR is now worth $9,474.70, not exactly $30K, but not exactly chopped liver, either. If you're keeping score, we only need one or two big winners a year, like PLTR or TSLA, to make reading (and acting upon) these updates worth the time, effort and expense. Mid-Week Big Picture Update As for the rest of this week, keep an eye on last week's lows in QQQ (510.15) and/or SPY Monday's low (590.49), to signal a new leg down across all indices. There is something eerily precarious about this market, like it can't make up its mind whether to soar...or crash, in the days, or weeks, ahead. We need to be ready in either case, ergo, the numerous updates in both trading services.
