There is literally nothing new in any of the major themes we've been covering over the past few weeks, other than the usual ebb and flow of "nothing moves in a straight line." The election is just days away and even there, no surprises seem forthcoming. The financial beneficiaries of a one-party sweep may or may not include stocks, but gold, silver and bitcoin all seem likely to take off to the upside in anticipation of inflationary enthusiasm in each sector. All continue in their respective upward intermediate and longer term trends, with only the short-term up for grabs. Accordingly, our positions in December and January calls should withstand any temporary drawdowns without triggering protective stops. Nonetheless, if underinvested in any positions, new recommendations are likely as calls get deeper in the money and expirations draw closer.
