Now that we are past today's CPI numbers, which came in, "as expected," pre-Open today, I can send out this trade without fear of being blindsided by a lurking news event. As is evident from the chart below, TLT has unfolded in a a Wave 1-2 to the downside, projecting a Wave 3 due next into the low $80's. This kind of pattern recognition trade has been our bread and butter in past years, before exponential opportunities started coming our way with the likes of TSLA, PLTR, RKLB and BITO. Those trades are updated in the bottom table. TLT Daily: On a Sell Potential is for a decline to low $80's to mid $70's in the 60-90 days ahead. Implication is for higher interest rates, which makes no sense with today's inflation report, but our pattern recognition says a signal is a signal and this one is a Sell. Mar TLT Puts TLT initial target is low $80's and a 3X to 5X return on these just out of the money puts. Update: Premium Service Option Portfolio The good news: TSLA, TSLL and BITO The bad news: 50% Trailing stops hit: PLTR, RKLB (see lightly shaded rows above for specific calls).
