On Monday I recommended a Special Situation stock, HIMS, to the PRO Service because of the Super Bowl. More specifically, because of the company's sixty second spot that will be run during Sunday's game, which will be seen by an estimated 125 million viewers: HIMS Super Bowl Spot Besides this spot, HIMS will also benefit from a week's worth of free publicity surrounding the nomination of RFK, Jr. for Secretary of Health and Human Services, which should dominate headlines next week. Shares of HIMS are up from $41 on Monday, to over $45 so far today. Although 10% in four days, 5X that on the calls, is nothing to sneeze at, both charts below are suggesting much higher prices still. HIMS 120 Minute The pattern recognition thesis is targeting $55-74 for the current move, suggesting that this is just the beginning of a new leg up, spurred in part by massive national publicity for the company. It's also a reason to watch what otherwise would be just another football game, played between two teams no one outside of the two respective fanbases' care anything about. Then again, there is Tom Brady, a fellow University of Michigan (Go Blue!) alum, who will be doing color on the broadcast; a second reason to watch. Options These are the two calls recommended on Monday, still buyable since the impetus for buying is market reaction after the Super Bowl spot and RFK, Jr. senate vote. Let's add another choice, just in case: HIMS Hourly Point & Figure In the last century, literally, I kept a pad a graph paper in the desk in my law office and would spend lunch breaks graphing point and figure stock charts by hand (in pencil), creating an intimacy with price action that just cannot be replicated with Trading View on a MacBook Pro.
