Just days after I wrote that there won't be many Interim Alerts, here we have one. But it's important. A signal can only be confirmed after market close, which is why we enter new trades after the next day's open. Nonetheless, all new trades can be considered "Pending" the day before. With the market down 200 points mid-session, a pattern is emerging in trades pending pointing toward further market decline. If the market stays down, and especially if it continues its decline into the close, these trades are very likely to be confirmed. Aggressive traders may consider entering these trades before today's close of trading. Trades Pending The recommended option strikes below are subject to change if stock prices move a strike or two before confirmation. Jun expirations are more aggressive than July expirations: AMGN - Sell Signal: Jun $170 Put or Jul $165 Put GS - Sell Signal: Jun $245 Put or Jul $240 Put SPY - Sell Signal: Jun $271 Put or Jul $270 Put (and/or ETF = SDS) VXX - Buy Signal: Jun $37 Call or Jun $40 Call
