There will be an unknown but huge demand for TSLA shares at and near the close today and likely into after hours trading. The demand could affect price in a big way, at least temporarily. For anyone looking to take advantage of a temporary anomaly in share price that may extend into extended trading after regular market close check with your broker for any special trade instructions. For example, Schwab requires you to choose "AfterHours" in the trade venue when it becomes available after the regular session expires @ 4:00 pm ET. Robinhood's instructions are here. Best idea is to check with your broker now, and not wait until the close of trading to figure it out. THIS IS NOT A CALL TO ACTION TO DO ANYTHING WITH YOUR SHARES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TODAY'S S&P INCLUSION. It's anyone's guess as to what price will do today or next week because of this event. TSLA is a $1,000 stock by the end of next year and just waiting it out is a fine strategy.
