We've discussed trading the Bitcoin cycle with options on miners (MARA and RIOT), but that is not the only way to trade it. The purest trading strategy is simply to enter a bitcoin position on Buys and exit it on Sells. Going long Bitcoin on the blue Buys and exiting the position on the red Sells, this "Long Only" Bitcoin trading strategy gained $49,744 since February 28th, versus an overall Bitcoin gain of $1,128. Of the 13 trades on the chart below, there are 13 winners, i.e., Sells have been at higher prices than the prior Buy, and the Buys have been at a lower prices than the previous Sell. The next buying opportunity is on August 22nd.
